DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set up and operate the sand blaster, wash station, and build fixtures for all parts before coating.
• Set up and operate the Emperion coating chamber to coat component parts.
• Set up and ensure all components are re-packaged for assembly production.
• Responsible for facility/equipment cleanliness, readiness and may be assigned additional duties as required.
• Able to perform full scope of activities associated with job which include the most difficult aspects.
• Able to train complex skills and concepts to technicians.
• Able to perform the internal coating chamber preventative maintenance.
• Coordinates with the equipment manufacturers as needed to perform coating chamber electrical and mechanical maintenance.
• Can demonstrate a working knowledge of all chamber component system's theoretical functionality.
• Independently performs routine quality checks and evaluations on established coatings as set by internal & external quality processes.
• Has a general working knowledge of the coating industry, including other coating concepts and equipment.
• Participates in necessary training including traveling for additional training as required.
• Other duties as directed by the Production Manager or Coating Engineer.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Physical demands and ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Must have good hand and eye coordination with high degree of attention to detail.
• Lifting on occasion up to 50 pounds.
• Related experience and inspection to mil-spec and industry best practice specifications and tolerances.
• Basic computer skills with Microsoft Office, Excel.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and operational knowledge of sand blaster, wash station, and other hand tools.

Hours are Friday - Sunday from 6:00am - 6:30pm

Work 36 hours, paid for 40!
