Forsyth Barnes are partnered with a lead organisation in the CPG space seeking a Direcotr, Pricing. As part of the pricing team, you will join a specialized group of 50 professionals committed to formulating effective pricing strategies for retail and food services. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and expertise in retail pricing dynamics. This role encompasses not only the creation and execution of pricing frameworks but also includes innovative segmentation of pricing based on various criteria.

• Manage daily pricing requests, providing insights and direction on pricing matters.
• Collaborate extensively with Business Unit (BU) teams and GMs to inform pricing decisions grounded in their profit and loss insights, monitoring commodity costs and market trends.
• Partner with finance teams within BU to analyze the seasonality of commodities and its implications for pricing strategy.
• Participate in team meetings focused on pricing innovation and ensure competitive positioning in the marketplace.
• Conduct thorough examinations of various pricing approaches, aligning them with analytic findings and market intelligence.

Requirements - Director, Pricing:

• Strong CPG experience in pricing, with a solid grasp of retail pricing frameworks and strategies
• Advanced analytical skills and expertise in syndicated data tools (e.g., Nielsen, Sonaca) for shopper insights
• Familiarity with real-time media analytics and digital/shopper marketing programs
• Background in the food industry, particularly commodities, is a plus
