Overview:

The Manufacturing Production Supervisor oversees assembly line operations, ensuring a safe work environment while achieving daily targets for product quality, accuracy, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership:

• • Assign tasks and prepare schedules to optimize workflow.
  • Guide and coach employees while monitoring safety protocols, quality standards, and productivity goals.
  • Promote cross-training and coordinate task assignments to reduce downtime.
  • Approach all duties and coaching with a Continuous Improvement mindset.
  • Work with all functions to drive improvements and solve problems.
  • Address employee performance issues as needed.

• Operational Oversight:

• • Maintain accurate timekeeping and attendance records.
  • Ensure proper use of equipment and required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Verify that all firearm transactions and company transfers are completed accurately and promptly.
  • Evaluate and report daily performance metrics in the Daily Production Report.

• Quality Assurance:

• • Implement and monitor quality checks and standards.
  • Train employees on processes to meet quality expectations and productivity benchmarks.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven leadership skills with a proactive approach to team development.
• Experience in a Continuous Improvement manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of firearms or mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly convey expectations and resolve issues.
• Proficient in basic computer applications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Task-oriented with effective time management skills.
• Collaborative mindset; works well across departments.
• Physically capable of lifting and moving up to 50 lbs.
