Your Role: As the Director of Educational Programs, you will lead efforts aimed at improving academic achievement for elementary school students. Your role as the instructional leader will involve inspiring teachers, overseeing high-quality teaching practices, and ensuring effective policy implementation to create an enriching learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction to enhance student achievement and operational excellence.
  • Engage in the recruitment and selection of a strong site team.
  • Support teachers in managing classroom schedules and ensuring seamless transitions for students.
  • Consult on effective teaching strategies and positive behavior interventions.
  • Supervise staff performance with personalized development plans and targeted feedback.
  • Ensure a safe learning environment, adhering to incident reporting protocols.
  • Oversee comprehensive school operations, including administration, budgeting, and community relations.
  • Communicate effectively with families and stakeholders to foster a network of support for students.
  • Utilize student assessment data to drive instructional strategies and targeted interventions.
  • Model and support the implementation of effective instructional methods.
  • Manage student behavior positively through evidence-based interventions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in education or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Current or in-process education leadership and special education credentials.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in special education services.
  • Leadership experience in an educational setting, with strong knowledge of operational and compliance issues.
  • Skilled in applied behavior analysis, effective teaching strategies, and performance management.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and conflict resolution skills.
