Apprentice Night Operator

Mansfield, AR

This is an exciting entry-level opportunity for self-motivated individuals looking to grow within a dynamic work environment. As a Night Operator Apprentice, you will have the chance to advance into more skilled positions while contributing to a thriving company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure a clean and safe work area by collecting debris and properly disposing of sawdust and dropped lumber as assigned.
• Willingness to undertake housekeeping duties, including ground maintenance, painting, and janitorial tasks.
• Demonstrate adaptability by performing various job tasks that may change daily.
• Promote a culture of safety by adhering to all mill safety policies and procedures.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements for Success:

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to work outdoors in all temperatures and loud environments, performing physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Must be capable of performing essential functions, including walking, standing, climbing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Successful candidates will complete a pre-employment background check, drug screening, and physical exam.

What Sets You Apart:

• Demonstrated ability to follow safety policies and procedures, including performing safety observations and operating equipment safely.
• Proactive approach to fulfilling job assignments effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Availability for night shifts, holidays, and weekends.
• Preferred six months of experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
