Quality Systems Support Assistant

Summary: This assistant is responsible for verifying the daily hold/rework info; placing and releasing products all plants if needed, compiling and uploading data to the customer database, assist the QA management should he/she being requested.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Verifying the daily plant 2 Fort Smith further processing hold/rework info.
  • Compiling/uploading KPI to customer database (various customers)
  • Performs other duties as requested by Quality Assurance management.

This is a safety sensitive position.

  • Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Reasoning Skills: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Excel, Word and Outlook. Also, other web-based programs and software.
