WorkSource is seeking a Forklift Maintenance Technician to join our team at one of our cold storage facilities. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing warehouse equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations in a temperature-controlled environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ year of forklift maintenance experience
OR specialized forklift repair training (Crown, Raymond, etc.)
OR 2+ years of mechanical experience (auto, diesel, or truck/trailer) - Ability to complete technical and mechanical training as required
- Must obtain and maintain HAZMAT certification
- Basic computer skills (email, data entry, internet use)
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in cold storage environments
- Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic skills (component-level)
- Experience with CMMS systems (Oracle preferred)
- Technical certification or degree
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20°F
- Comfortable working at heights (35+ feet)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Frequent standing, walking, climbing, and use of hand/power tools
- Ability to work nights and weekends
- Must pass a physical and respiratory exam
